Thanking Our Musicians
This summer, we've been blessed to enjoy wonderful music both downtown and at Mt. Lebanon Chapel. We want to take this opportunity to highlight of few of the talented individuals who helped make this possible!
- ZACHARY BUGG- Zachary Bugg has been attending St. James since February 2021 and recently became confirmed in the Episcopal Church this summer. A native of Memphis, Zach’s earliest experience at the piano he can remember is when he was four and would play hymns he learned in the church by ear. He is also classically trained and has accompanied the choir or congregation in churches where he’s lived in Mississippi, Alabama, Maryland, and North Carolina. Zach’s “day job” is a civil engineer for a transportation planning/engineering firm. He currently resides in Odgen with his husband Scott and their Norwegian Elk Hound/Bulldog, Duke.
- TIM FORD- Started playing music in 8th grade when I fell in love with the guitar after asking for, a receiving, a Silvertone electric guitar that Christmas! Had a four-piece band all through college at the University of Florida working almost every Friday and Saturday night. Loved that part of my life and somehow did graduate from the University of Florida with both a BA in Journalism and a JD from UF College of Law. I have played regularly over my 35 working years but mostly for friends, weddings, and funerals. I love playing at Lebanon Chapel as it is such a spiritual place, it is a blessing for me which I enjoy greatly! The photo is with my Grandson Spencer, who sadly passed just a few years ago (way too early).
- STEPHEN MUELLER - My mom sang in our church choir and later was the organist. I taught myself how to play at 13 in Arlington, VA. After college, I spent a year teaching guitar lessons in Charlottesville and playing solo gigs in various nightspots. During my career as a marketing editor and college professor, I played regularly for services at Episcopal churches in Arlington, Burlingame, CA and Greensboro. My style is based upon folk music with country and rock influences.
