The church is not a building. The church is people. The people of St. James Parish are what make ministry happen! We couldn't serve our community without each of you. Not sure how to get involved? Never fear! We have a ministry for you. Ushers, Lectors, Writers, Photographers, whatever your strength, we can help you find a place to use it! PARTICIPATE IN OUR USHER MINISTRY

CALLING ALL LECTORS & ACOLYTES

We're always looking for new people to join us as readers or acolytes during our services on Sunday and on special occasions! If you are looking for a way to share your voice or time, this could be a great fit. Please reach out to [email protected] if you are interested in learning more.

ALTAR GUILD NEEDS YOU

Help us be Sunday ready! Communion is an important part of communal worship and our fabulous Altar Guild helps make it happen behind the scenes. If you would like to learn more, please reach out to Susan Ingle at [email protected].

JOIN ST. MARTHA'S GUILD

St. Martha’s Guild provides care to St. James parishioners by delivering meals to the sick, the bereaved, and to families with new babies. We also write notes, make phone calls and deliver simple gifts or food to individuals and families confronted with life’s ups and downs. St. Martha’s Guild is also responsible for the coordination of our parish’s funeral receptions. This guild is comprised of more than 100 members working in teams headed by monthly team leaders. We work closely with the clergy and the church office for updates on parish needs. We welcome new members! Please consider becoming a part of this rewarding ministry.
